IBARAKI, Osaka Pref. (Kyodo) Kaname Yokoo fired a sizzling 8-under-par 62 to grab the first-round lead at the Asia-Pacific Panasonic Open on Thursday. Yokoo, whose last tour victory came at the 2006 Mitsubishi Diamond Cup, had eight birdies in a bogey-free round to move two strokes in front of China’s Liang Wenchong and Australian Marcus Both at the Ibaraki Country Club’s West Course.
